Everything i do is: Creative Commons:by-sa-4.0 (to prevent others from trying to steal my work, i do require my work be credited as RLVLR, however anyone can modify and use and sell my stuff with no real need for licensing so long as you agree not to prohibit others from using it, or putting my work behind paywalls) Open source Donated to the public domain All things i have made that could be considered new i irrevocably waive all patent rights for them, and donate it all to the public domain so it can be seen by the US Patent and Trademark office as prior art so that nobody, including myself, can ever claim ownership of them in the future. I want to put things out that others are free to tinker with and optimize further which they are free to do, so long as they go by CC0 standards of allowing others to further remix their stuff, because thats how it was always supposed to be, things just existing, without attribution and without purposely restrictive patents that prevent others from future optimization and allowing a meritocracy where the best things win, not just the first to discover it (which is usually irrelevant) Ideas and innovations should exist and spread freely as that adds the most complexity to the system when things arent put behind paywalls or owned by companies, or put outside the map so that others cant find or tinker or optimize them further. while I'd prefer cc:0, because that designation risks others falsely trying to steal and patent things I've done, credit of RLVLR should be put on my work, and it should be made known that anyone can use or modify my designs, within normal parameters and stuff. So i search the horizons for the things i dont see on the map yet, and when i find them, i hope to give them back to those that might want to use the designs as jumping off points for their own projects. I believe information and speech and innovative concepts shouldnt exist behind paywalls or restrictive patents that dont allow others to build or remix them further. All are free to use my concepts to try to create better versions than mine, fusion 360 makes it easier than people realize to just make things. Everything i have made that could be considered a new invention i irrevocably donate to the public domain, creative commons zero, no attribution, 100% open source, for anyone to try and use or modify or improve or sell or further optimize beyond where i have left it. I believe inventions and information and speech should always be free, and not be restricted to those that happened to stumble across it first or by algorithms that decide which ideas to promote and which to stifle.
