Vented replacement trapdoor cover for the bottom expansion slot of the Amiga 1200 (A1200). The original trapdoor is a solid plate. This cover has 11 slanted, round-ended ventilation slots (about 3,460 mm2 of open area) so that warm air can escape from an accelerator or memory card installed in the trapdoor slot. Fits: - Amiga 1200 with the original bottom case. It uses the same mounting as the stock trapdoor: a tongue at one end slides under the case lip, a snap latch at the other end clicks into place. - The inside face is low at the tongue end (3.0 mm above the outer face), which leaves room for accelerator cards with thick connectors. - Not tested in reproduction / replica cases. Please check before buying: - Make sure your computer is an Amiga 1200 and look at your trapdoor opening. - Size: 167.8 x 82.0 x 10.9 mm (length x width x height including the latch). - If your accelerator card has parts that stand above the slot opening, compare them with this low-profile cover. Material: PETG, white. 3D printed (FDM), so fine layer lines are visible. Made to order. Installation: 1. Put the tongue end in first, under the case lip at the end of the opening. 2. Lower the cover into the recess. 3. Press the latch end until the hook clicks into the case. To remove it, release the latch at the latch end and lift the cover out. No screws needed. Accelerator / memory card not included. Images are CG renderings of the part. Aftermarket part, not made by or affiliated with Commodore or the owners of the Amiga trademark.
