This is a removable shade for Pot Lights that fits 6 inch fixtures. Magnets are included. Read to the end for other sizes. How do I insert the magnets? This video shows how I do it: https://youtube.com/shorts/edZ2EcwgQrE?feature=share Mounting with Magnets, 3M Command Strips, or Double Sided Tape? Not every fixture is ferromagnetic so besides magnets you have adhesive mounting options: 3M Command Strips I have included recessed areas for 3M Command Strips. The depth is just right to sit flush to the fixture. There is some DIY required. I cut them lengthwise and then trim to fit the indentations in the base of the shade. Double Sided Tape If you are mounting with tape, I suggest 'carpet tape'. It is double sided, has a strong hold, and can be removed without leaving any residue. Below is a link to a brand I have success with: https://a.co/d/amLmq8V Caulk A thin layer of caulk will do it. I suggest removing the fixture so gravity isn't a problem while the caulk sets. My Story I fixed my glare problem with custom pot light blinds. When I sat down to enjoy a new TV, I was shocked to see terrible glare from 8 lights. It made my setup unwatchable. I got to work and designed simple pot light blinds, modeled the angles for each light, printed, and voilà—the glare was gone. They worked so well and were so economical to produce that I decided to turn them into a product to help others solve the same problem. Forward to today and I have added translucent shades in all kinds of shapes. They don't block the light but instead warmly diffuse it, reducing glare in other situations. Don't see the size you need?
