Caduceus / Rod of Asclepius / Doctor's symbol

The Caduceus AKA the Rod of Asclepiusis is a traditional symbol featuring a staff entwined by two snakes, often topped with a pair of wings. Historically, it is associated with Hermes (Mercury in Roman mythology), the messenger of the gods, and symbolises peace, commerce, eloquence, and even thievery.
