This is a simple little display stand in which you can screw your ESP32-2432S028 to and simply set it on a table, desk, monitor, or where ever you would like to display it. (NOTE: this item is the display stand only, controller board and screen are not included.) This display stand is specifically designed for the ESP-32 development board known as the ESP32-2432S028. This board is widely know as the “Cheap Yellow Display” or CYD. It is a widely used microcontroller development board hosting the ESP-WROOM-32 module featuring a 2.8 inch TFT resistive touch display. It may be known as ESP32-2432S028R or ESP32-2432S028 2USB. I believe they are all exactly the same form factor and should fit. Features: Open design allowing for heat dissipation as well and connections to various ports on the board, should you need. There is also an open hole where the SD card goes for easy access. Assembly: 1- Break away the included spacers from the inside edge of the display stand. 2- Place board in hole with the SD card slot facing the opening for it. 3- Using the included screw and spacers with a Philips screw driver, screw the board to the display stand. The spacers go between the screw and the board, NOT between stand and board. (WARNING: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN the screws, as this may strip the holes out) 4- Plug your device in, set where you want it and enjoy. Engineering Story: While experimenting with ESP32 display boards for Bitcoin and IoT projects, I wanted a simple stand that looked good on my desk and still allowed access to the SD card as well as other ports on the board. The only real option I found was a more expensive version with an acrylic enclosure, which didn’t meet my needs, so I designed one that prints quickly, requires no supports, and assembles in just a few minutes.
