Upper 9V Battery Cover & Grip Kit Compatible with Original 1979 Big Trak - 2 Printed Parts

Replacement upper 9V battery-compartment cover and matching grip for the original 1979 Milton Bradley Big Trak. Includes one 3D-printed round cover base and one separate 3D-printed grip, supplied unassembled in black PETG. This is the TOP 9V cover. It is not the lower main-battery door. Compatibility with the 2010 re-release or other versions has not been established. Please compare your vehicle and the part dimensions before ordering. The cover has an original recessed diagonal grip pattern and a redesigned inner reinforcement layout. The separate grip has tapered sides, straight chamfered ends and two recessed grip channels. FDM layer lines and minor support-removal marks may be visible. Hardware is NOT included. Assembly requires two M3 machine screws and two M3 nuts. The shaft holes are approximately 3.4 mm, the grip has approximately 6 mm screw-head recesses, and the screw spacing is 40 mm. Check screw length, head profile and nut thickness for your vehicle; a specific fastener length has not been validated. Do not force oversized hardware or overtighten it. Assembly: fit the nuts into the hexagonal pockets on the inside of the cover. Place the grip against the flat outside face, align the two holes and secure it with suitable M3 screws through the grip. Remove any support remnants from the locking tabs before fitting. Preserve the vehicle's original locking action and check that the cover seats without force or interference with the battery or wiring. Compatibility is based on matching the documented replacement's mounting geometry. This redesigned version has not been test-fitted by us.
